We are an association of professional portrait photographers with one goal in mind. The advancement of professional portrait photography standards through education, art, and charity. The use of the word "professional" before the word photographer should mean something to photographers. It's not just something you should be able to pay a fee for and get a sticker for your door and a logo on your website, it is an learned skill and artisan trade that needs to be mastered. Certain skills like mastery of light, posing, exposure, post production to just name a few will be required of all members.
